Soul Distracted

Soul Distracted? How does that play out in our lives? Something gets our attention, our soul focus, and we follow after it with our thoughts, and of course our human condition kicks in and we start assuming, speculating, rationalizing, and that is just a wide open door for the enemy of our soul to come in and keep us so soul distracted. The only problem with that is, it doesn’t stop there, it moves into our attitudes and emotions! Close the door to the enemy of our soul… that is is how to stop soul distraction. We get engrained in the chaos of our culture and the consequences of the sin that we see all around us everyday, the chaos of people living apart from God can be overwhelming. Instead of turning all the feelings that overwhelm us inwardly and try to carry it on our own, we should look up and say: We Need You Lord!

We need God at the helm of our boats, so we can sail unencumbered by the things of this world in followship of You, God, depending on You first, being yoked to God. When we turn to our left or right, You are there, there isn’t anything we are not equipped for, You have made a way for us, there is no burden to heavy for You to carry.

The foundation of our faith is Jesus, and the most incredible thing to remember is after Jesus died, they came to the tomb and there was an angel who said: Who are you looking for? They said: Jesus! The angel said: He Is Not Here! He has risen from the dead.

God is with us, we are never without Him! Let this be written on the door of your heart and when the enemy knocks on your door with soul chaos in tow, guard your heart with the truth and deny his access, give him no permission to speak into your life. Make room for Jesus in your heart and leave no room for the enemy in your soul. God bless ya.
