In this [Is ALT a Good Stock to Buy Now?] video , we will be discussing one particular biotech stock, ALT | Altimmune, and analyzing its recent run in the stock market. We will take a look at its financials, such as its debt and target price, and explore the reason behind its rise in the stock market.

Altimmune has recently had an exuberant run, and it's important to understand why. Upon further investigation, we found that this is due to the hype surrounding the GLP1 obesity drugs. Altimmune is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for an obesity drug, and this explains the sudden surge in its stock. However, while the market hype is positive, it's important to note that the stock is currently trading at a high price, which could make it risky to invest in.

We will also take a quick look at Altimmune's pipeline, as most biotech companies have a dedicated tab for this information. We can see that Altimmune is also working on drugs for liver diseases, which is another area that generates a lot of market hype cyclically. This gives us a better understanding of the potential market Altimmune is targeting.

However, we should note that Altimmune has a rather small pipeline, with not too many shots on goal.
