Living through the mid 1980s was a strange time. On one hand, we had great music, great movies and for someone like me, going through your teens, it was undoubtedly a great time to be alive. However, hanging over it all, was this feeling of existential dread - the very real possibility of a nuclear war between the USA and the USSR.
