Recent attacks on Russian sites in the Leningrad Region have evidenced the Ukrainian forces' capability with long-range artillery, according to Valeriy Ryabykh, a Ukrainian military specialist and executive at Defence Express. He interprets this as an evolution in warfare tactics, noting the targeted range—stretching 700 to 900 km directly, which, when avoiding Russian air defense and potential hazards, extends to roughly 1,200 km, as discussed on "Espresso" TV.
Ryabykh points out that these advanced weapons systems enable strikes on critical logistical hubs used by the invaders for fuel and economic operations, bringing the consequences of Putin's strategies into the view of his admirers, even far from battle zones.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian presidential counselor Mykhailo Podolyak has urged international allies to escalate their military support, underlining the need for a substantial arsenal given the extensive front line of 1,300 km, with active engagements across 600 to 800 km. Podolyak emphasizes the strategic need for investments in Ukraine’s military manufacturing, specifically for the production of long-range missiles, drones, grenades, and artillery shells.
