The Best Old Fashioned Zucchini Bread
My grandma used to make this zucchini bread when I would go stay with her for the weekend. I have tried other zucchini bread recipes that were too dry or too plain tasting and always come back to grandma's recipe because it's just the best combination of spice, sweetness, and moistness. Can you guess what year a church cookbook published her recipe? Guess in the comments and I will tell ya. Here is the recipe for those of you keeping them for future use:
Zucchini Bread Recipe ingredients:
3 cups zucchini
1 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup raisins
