The Ethics of Eating: Are Some DIETS More MORAL Than Others?

Peter Boghossian and a young Australian woman participate in a Street Epistemology exercise in Regent's Park, London. Most claims explore the ethics of different diets, such as vegetarianism, veganism, and the carnivore diet. Though the two agreed on many claims, they disagreed about different aspects of hunting. While Peter agreed that it's unethical to kill an animal you don't intend to eat, the young woman explains that it's not uncommon in Australia to hunt certain animals that are overpopulated or a threat to crops or farm animals.

The two also discuss hunting and whether an animal's intelligence should play a role in whether it is killed for consumption. Finally, they discuss whether life-or-death circumstances could warrant eating a human.
