AFU Shot Down an IL-76 Cargo Plane with 65 Ukrainian POWs on Board

January 2024, over Belgorod region of Russia.
Russian MoD: On board the fallen Il-76 there were 65 captured military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces transported to the Belgorod region for exchange, 6 crew members and 3 accompanying persons. Everyone died. A VKS commission flew to the site of the plane crash to establish the causes of the disaster.
