2015 - 2019 Ford Transit Radio Install

Watch a full tutorial as this 2016 Ford Transit will have a brand new Wireless CarPlay / Wireless Android Auto radio installed. This new double din radio will require us to convert the OEM dash to one that can accommodate our new radio. This install can retain both the steering wheel volume controls, Ford Sync module, and factory OEM backup camera.

This video applies to Ford Transit models for years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. This video also includes complete radio wiring and assembly, installation, and testing.

NOTE for NON-SYNC models: If you don't have the 4.2" factory screen and / or SYNC, you will not need the Axxess AX-FDSYNC-SWC harness as it's only designed for models with that screen which generates the reverse camera image. If you have steering wheel volume controls, you will also need the Metra / Axxess ASWC-1 module and more programming instructions can be found here:
