My GE Appliance Experience

Watch short video, but bottom line: ***** WARNING to those considering purchasing GE appliances! 💰☠️ *****

GE Refrigerator was defective since purchase. GE repair person came three times and admitted there was a problem, but he didn’t know what, or how to fix it. Replaced parts as a Hail Mary and the GE Refriderator still makes awful noises all hours of the day and night. You can hear it literally all the way across the house.

GE couldn’t fix this unit, so as soon as it was out of warranty they said I had to pay the same person who couldn’t fix the unit three times under warranty to come back out again and try to fix a problem he couldn’t figure out the first three times out of warranty, but it was now my financial responsibility. 🤯

So let’s reflect on the logic of GE customer service and warranty departments. 🤔

• We admit the unit is defective.
• We admit we can’t figure out what’s wrong.
• We admit there’s definitely an issue so we’ll just replace some parts and hope for the best.
• We admit we can’t fix the problem.
• We’re not replacing or repairing your unit.
• If you want a new unit that doesn’t make noise, we’ll sell you another refrigerator. Or, you can pay to fix this one even though we have no idea what’s wrong and guarantee nothing. Our GE service calls start at $200+ plus parts.😡

GE math is as good as their appliances and service, 💩 / 👎👎

Because of months dealing with this annoyance, and listening to this unit grind all hours of the day and night, I do not recommend anyone buy their products after my personal experiences. I will be purchasing a new unit soon, but I can assure you that it will not be a GE.
