Kate Hildreth, Creative Director and contributor at DailyClout, is hosting a new show! The Rogue Millennial will feature unpopular opinions and counternarrative perspectives as well as exclusive interview features with thought leaders and remarkable individuals with important stories to tell.

In this premier episode, Hildreth argues that 'Barbie', starring Margot Robbie, does a "disservice" to women and feminism by promoting sexist double standards, the "victim mentality", and counterproductively casting men as the "villains."

A note from Kate Hildreth:

"I'm not saying sexist and misogynistic men don't exist - they most certainly do. But if we, as women, are constantly degrading each other, tearing each other down, and treating each other badly, how can we expect any different from men? We can't blame men for all of our problems if we don't start respecting each other and fixing the problem internally. America Ferrera's so-called "feminist" speech does a disservice to women, and to what feminism should be, by portraying women as victims. Identifying problems is only one step. If we, as women, are not willing to commit to fixing those problems with our actions, all we're doing is complaining. So let's build each other up, support each other, stop calling each other names, and stop playing the blame game. We can't control everything that happens in the world, but we can control how we respond to it. The world is our oyster. Women are powerful, so let's see what we're capable of."
