Senate Republicans Announce Plan to Combat Arizona's Border Crisis
PHOENIX, ARIZONA— Members of the media are invited to join Senate Republicans at a press conference
Wednesday for a big announcement highlighting a plan to help county sheriffs and local law enforcement fight
the border invasion currently threatening national security and the safety of our Arizona communities.
Over the past several years, the federal government's refusal to enforce existing immigration laws has
culminated into the worst border crisis in U.S. history, with Arizona being ground zero for record-setting
numbers of people illegally entering our country and the criminal activity associated with this invasion.
The lawmakers will be joined by representatives from Cochise County Sheriff's Office, Yavapai County
Sheriff's Office, and Pinal County Sheriff's Office.
Speakers will take relevant questions at the conclusion of their remarks.
