Western media dominance has given the Collective West a huge soft power over rest of the world. News outlets from rest of the world take the news from global news corporation as primary source. But due to the rise of social media , this monopoly of big western news agency has shattered. Their credibility is now in question.
Ukraine war and Palestine war has made the issue more clearer. One sided narrative is over and people are getting their news from different sources. Deliberate trying to mislead people are often called-out.
