I have uploaded more stairlift repair diary videos than anyone else. These videos were created for my clients, showing how complicated their repairs went; and, in several cases, prevented home electrical wiring fires, electrocution, or led-poisoning, at no extra charge.

WHY DOES THIS OPPORTUNITY EXIST?

According to Consumer Affairs and the Better Business Bureau, 70% of Acorn customers are upset with the manufacturer.

According to the Facebook Acorn Owners Group members, a used Acorn stairlift barely has scrap metal value, even if installed only for 11 days.  Disabled folks originally paid $5,000 to $13,000 to Acorn for their new stairlift.  The Acorn company will not buy back a used stairlift.

There is a lack of experienced Acorn engineers because of high employee turnover, according to Indeed website postings.  This lack causes long delays to Acorn customers.

Acorn stairlifts are very complicated to diagnose, and to maintain
according to the annual service requirements,
and complicated to repair, because there are at least six variants of the Acorn Curve model 180 that I have repaired. 
Most of my Acorn repairs involved more than one issue, even for a battery replacement. 
Furthermore, a careless techie could amputate a finger  -- and worse, when replacing a Stirling Mini battery.  Therefore, I prefer that we install only Acorn stairlifts.

$8000 to $15000 per year, depending mostly on how many other resellers already exist in your city.  The Acorn company website says an Acorn stairlift is installed "every 8 minutes" somewhere.
