American diplomats block all documents on ceasefire in Gaza – Sergey Lavrov

During the UNSC meeting, Russia's top diplomat Sergei Lavrov accused the US and its allies of blocking all the initiatives to stop the bloodshed in Gaza, including a presidential statement demanding an immediate humanitarian ceasefire.

"The US and their allies blocked this document as well, thereby confirming that saving the lives of Palestinian civilians is not among their priorities," he said.
