Israel at War: Why won't Hamas agree to a month-long pause in fighting?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Hamas‘ conditions for a hostage deal. Retired Captain Armen Kurdian says Hamas won't agree to a fighting pause, because Israel has already stated that it will go into Gaza and destroy Hamas.
