The story behind the song.

All the instrumental music was created and produced by Seth Mosley at Full Circle Music in Nashville TN.

All the lyrics and melody I created happened during the Full Circle Music Hitmaker Challenge in September 2023.

I had a lot of fun recording the melody and lyrics for this song with what Seth had created. Many thanks to Seth and everyone on his team. I’m very grateful for everyone there and all the song chasers in the Song Chasers community!

The majority of the lyrics and melody for this song came to me almost instantly during the second vocal take, so it was recorded differently than any song I’ve ever written before.

The initial lyrics I wrote for the song came from some memories of being able to work things out and not go through a marriage separation.

The additional lyrics were inspired by words spoken about the prodigal son at a Sunday worship service at The Pulse in Old Hickory TN on September 17th 2023.
The biblical story made me think of the American justice lady with the sword and scales being like a prodigal slave of tyranny to mistreat President Trump with all the court cases from the corrupt in the DOJ.

Also this song is about bouncing back in time with new resilience from loss and injustice through out life.

Some people are saying America needs to go back to the 1776 founding fathers ideology in 2024.
