Kayaking Eno River State Park, NC - Pleasant Green to 501 River Kings, BA Adventures and ME

We continue our journey in learning how to kayak on the Eno River, NC. Bonnie, Alan, Mitch and Scott join Adam and I for an exploratory run down the Eno River. This stretch is listed as a class I - III run on American Whitewater. The level was 4.74' on the USGS gauge.
This was the B&A crew's first exploratory run where nobody on the river had been on that particular stretch. We focused on how to conduct such a run safely. We also spent some time doing some skill stretching exercises as well as practicing on their approach into rapids and eddies. All in all, a wonderful day on the water in a backyard river! Again Pete takes a group of new WW kayakers and works on their skills and reading the water
