Fast hot dog buns recipe for when you want hot dogs or chili dogs, but you just don't want to go to the store. Make these quick, fast, and in a hurry and have buns more tasty than the store. Ingredients for fast hot dog buns:

1 cup plus 2 T hot water
1/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup oil
2 T yeast
Mix together and let it sit a few minutes until frothy.
3 1/2 cups flour
1 large beaten egg
1 tsp. salt
Mix together anyway you want. Knead for 3 to 5 minutes.
Shape. Let it rest and rise for at least 15 minutes. You can go as long as you want if you have time.
Bake at 425 F for 8 - 10 minutes
