In this video, I teach Hunters how to find Rune of Beast Mastery. Once you reach level 16 you can find a patrolling cheetah near Camp Taurajo. You will need to use a trap on the cheetah in order to actually damage it. Another method includes hunting grizzled bears in Silverpine Forest until a Grizzled Protector appears. If you are feeling adventurous, you can travel to Loch Modan and get the rune from a trophy quest in a house next to Daryl the Youngling. World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery.
