Embarking on the challenging journey of a registered business in California, especially as a disabled veteran-owned enterprise, has been a formidable task. Despite the preference mandated by federal and state operations, winning contracts has proven elusive, often lost to franchises.

In the relentless pursuit of opportunities, I found myself typing bids manually, twice a week, only to witness them slip away. It's disheartening, considering that each department within a state government operates as if it were privately-owned.
