The story follows a “ghost” who haunts the Paris Opera and the mysterious incidents attributed to this figure. The characters and the narrator himself try to uncover the secret of this ghost, who is really a masked man infatuated opera singer, Christine Daaé. The Phantom is a bit of a drama queen, and he’s always lurking around the opera house, causing mischief and mayhem. He’s also a bit of a romantic, and he’s hopelessly in love with Christine. He spends most of his time trying to win her over, but she’s not interested in him because he’s kind of creepy and wears a mask all the time. Meanwhile, Christine is falling in love with Raoul, a handsome young man who is also a patron of the opera. The Phantom is not happy about this, and he decides to take matters into his own hands. He kidnaps Christine and takes her to his underground lair, where he tries to convince her to love him. Raoul comes to the rescue, and there’s a big showdown between the two men. In the end, the Phantom is defeated, and Christine and Raoul live happily ever after. The moral of the story? Don’t be a creepy guy who wears a mask all the time
