Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, and Zeno all had something in common. As Stoics, they were all lifelong learners. As such they had lots to say about the state of education and how it should be approached. As two college students who have learned great things from these men, we have a lot to discuss about education as well.
Tune in as we embark on another analysis of modern education, with helpful tips on how to maximixe the value of your education. We emphasize the importance of seeking knowledge and wisdom OUTSIDE the classroom, rather than limiting one’s knowledge to a singular area. Whether you’re in high school or attending college, this guide to knowledge is sure to benefit anyone who uses it. Join us this week in our deepest discussion of modern education yet, and remember, “Wisdom is a right understanding, a faculty of discerning good from evil, what is to be chosen and what rejected; a judgment grounded upon the value of things, and not the common opinion of them.” - Seneca.
Additionally, we have some exciting updates for the upcoming year! First and foremost, we are now officially streaming our podcast on Rumble. Be sure to check us out there if you haven't already. We have also added TWO individual stoic readings weekly, but ONLY on our audio streaming services.
Follow us on all platforms for updates and engagement opportunities, see the show behind the scenes, and to join the Gen Z Stoic community. Thank you for listening. https://linktr.ee/genzstoic
