I never thought I’d see the day where the federal government not only intentionally breaks open the border, but tries to strong-arm states against securing it themselves.

The last time they did this, a war began. If the Federal Government, and Congress in both parties, did what they do now at any other point in US history, a war would have resulted. But the bureaucracy is so entrenched now that people just sit on their hands and do nothing.
