Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth Producer EMBARRASSED About the Original Game!

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is almost here and the promotional tour from the people who worked on it has gotten off to a rough start.

Yoshinori Kitase, Producer on Rebirth and Director of the original back in 1997, expressed some regret about how social problems, social issues and cultural depictions were handled with that seminal release.

While that would normally be a reason to recoil with cringe, when you listen to what Kitase has to say beyond the headline, you quickly come to the conclusion that this is not indictive of someone looking to "modern audience" the upcoming release.

Remake was and is amazing. I have personal high hopes for Rebirth.
