In this speech from a Veteran’s Day 2001 rally at the State Capital in Lansing, Michigan, Steve focuses on those servicemembers adversely impacted by the program. Steve finishes his speech with the following paraphrased statement: The best homeland defense is truth, honesty, follow-through, and commitment. “Americans will always rally for that.”
