SHTF: NATO Admiral Bauer 'People Should Be Prepared"

In a press conference (or conference of some sort) NATO Admiral Rob Bauer states that society needs to get prepared. Although what a flashlight, 36 hours of water and a radio with batteries will do for you during a war I have no idea.
I guess you might be a couple of days better off than people without it but I guess at least you get to see, hear and drink the impending doom you will face if this is all you have.
