Argentina - Chainsaw Economics (Myth20c - Ep264)

Located at the southern end of South America and comprising much of Patagonia, a region known for its ruggedly beautiful, yet empty expanses, Argentina is a country distant geographically as well as one metaphysically often forgotten. That all changed last year when Javier Milei won election to President and perhaps most notably held a rally wielding a chainsaw, promising to slash government bureaucracy and free up the society in an attempt to revitalize the long-struggling economy, plagued for decades by slow growth, chronic inflation, and currency crises.
