The largest margin of victory in ODI cricket is recorded by India when they defeated Sri Lanka by 317 runs in a match played on January 15, 2023. India, batting first, posted a huge total of 390 runs and then bowled out Sri Lanka for just 73 runs. Virat Kohli, the Indian run machine, scored a huge century and remained not out on 166 runs. Kohli was declared the player of the match.
