Died Suddenly: Journalist & Critic of Novak Djokovic Dies Whilst Covering Australian Open

English journalist and tennis commentator for 30 years, Mike Dickson was known as "Mister Wimbledon". In 2022 he published in the UK Daily Mail that Novak Djokovic was a "deplorable," "anti-vaxxer tennis superstar," "desperate to be loved,".

Aged 59 years old, on 17 January 2024, Dickson collapsed and died suddenly while covering the Australian Open in Melbourne.

It is not known how he would have covered Djokovic's 2024 game. It is also not known why he died.
