The Evolutionary Roots of Our Political Divide Featuring Thomas Sowell and Jonathan Haidt

The political divide seems to be as wide as it has ever been. Why is this? The reality is that the roots of our political divides are based in evolution, not ideology. If you want to understand why people behave in the way that they do, particularly in groups, you need to accept that man is no more rational than any other animal in nature. Only when you understand this truth will mass delusion such as the Covid Panic make any sense. In this video I hope to lay the foundations for you by referencing the works of Jonathan Haidt as well as Thomas Sowell. In future videos I plan on exploring each of Haidt’s six moral values in more detail and relate them in ways that can help you in the real world.
