An area of 33,700 square meters and is designed to have 1.2 million books featuring a luminous spherical auditorium and floor-to-ceiling bookcases like cascade. MVRDV, is an acronym of Netherlands-based architecture Winy Maas, Jacob van Rijs and Nathalie de Vries in collaboration with local architects Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institute TUPDI built this new unique Library.
