Sanding a MicroSD Flash Memory Card (No Music)

Sanding a MicroSD Flash memory card using a fine tip fiberglass pen. This process exposes the data and control lines located on the surface of the underside of the memory card that are used to communicate directly with the Flash memory core. The entire sanding process took approximately 22 minutes to complete.

It is recommended to wear gloves and work atop a paper towel as many tiny fiberglass shards are produced. Also, the bare copper will oxidize with time. Consider coating the exposed copper with solder or conformal coating to prevent oxidation and damage.
