Hey Mark, this is John Conrad with FERC and Chicago Flat Earth. We have a meetup coming op on the 22nd. This will be the second meetup of all of us since Jake Gibson was in town. It's looking like we should have a pretty good turnout (around 17) at this point in time, but I'm trying to reach out a bit further to others in the Midwest. I think these meetups are going to be important in the future to create a robust and strong FE community. I was wondering if you might be able to drop a promotion, with a link and photos for us? I, of course, will return the favor and send newbies your way quite often. It would be greatly appreciated, and I will definitely owe you one, my friend. Let me know either way, so I can explore other options if need be. Most people, if asked to prove that the earth is round, would not even bother to produce the rather weak arguments I have outlined above. They would start off by saying that ‘everyone knows’ the earth to be round, and if pressed further, would become angry. In a way Shaw is right. This is a credulous age, and the burden of knowledge which we now have to carry is partly responsible.

I live in a Magic Show with many Creative Forces Hiding God but I am in it for The Long Haul because I am more than another Soul in the System. The Lost Nail awakened me from blind trust in the Coat of Credibility, using my New Eyes and Depth Perception. I visit the Empty Theaters and admire Byrd Wall and all of the misguided Map Makers inhabiting the ol Status Quo when we are all truly dreaming of Shell Beach.
