Deadly robbery near EMU, gunmen on the loose

Police in Ypsilanti are looking for two men after a deadly apartment shooting and robbery near Eastern Michigan University. Police tell 7 Action News in a press release that two men entered an apartment at the University Green complex on Green Road at 11:20 p.m. Thursday. Officers say the men shot two people, stole some items and then ran away. Police say a 25-year-old woman was killed in the shooting. The other victim, a 29-year-old man, remains in critical condition.  The suspects are described as two black males in their early 20s wearing all black -- one of them was reportedly carrying a black backpack.
