Picking up where the movies left off but rewinding the tape to 1993, the Ted TV Series follows the early friendship of the foul-mouthed Teddy Bear Ted and his best friend John Bennett. This irreverent, politically incorrect show sees Ted being a questionable influence on a young John (Mark Wahlberg's character from the movies). But in the end, Ted proves to be a true friend to John. They're joined by their father Matty, their mother Susan, and their woke cousin Blaire as this episodic sitcom takes them from one hilarious scene to the next. All in all, with my expectations for this show at rock-bottom, Ted is a pleasant surprise and we're giving it a GreatWatch recommendation.
