A recipe for very tasty, delicate and fluffy cheese donuts.

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups of wheat flour
500 g of fat or ful-fat curd cheese or cream cheese
3/4 cup of powdered sugar
1 tablespoon of sugar with vanilla
4 small or 3 large eggs
1 teaspoon of baking soda
75g of butter
lard or oil for frying
you can add spirit or 1 tablespoon of vinegar

EXECUTION:

Grind the cheese in a meat grinder or using a mixer.

Place the ground cheese in a bowl and add sugar, soft butter and eggs. Mix all ingredients well.

Sift the flour and baking soda into the prepared cheese. Sift the flour gradually, stirring occasionally.

When the dough is too thick to mix with a spoon, start kneading it by hand.

Place the kneaded dough on the pastry board and roll it out to a thickness of about 0.5 - 1 cm. Cut out discs with a glass. Use a glass to cut out the center of each disc.

Heat the oil or lard in a pot. Fry them on both sides until they turn golden brown.

Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel to drain excess fat.

Sprinkle the finished doughnuts with powdered sugar.
