What is PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD and How to Do it?
This video gives you an overview of Progressive Overload and how to implement it into your training. Progressive Overload has proven effective by several sources and is an ideal concept to remember, especially for those new to weight training. While Training Until Failure can be effective, this should be reserved for more advanced lifters who understand what "True Failure" is and have experience in how not to sacrifice exercise form. The examples in this video should only be used as a guide as your individual routine will significantly vary depending on your experience level and goals (AKA: moving up five pounds a week on the bench press is way too rapid a pace).
