IL Dems Kill Scholarship Program, Low Income Kids Back in Public Schools, Catholic Schools Closing

Governor Priztker and Illinois Democrats did not like that low income families had access to a state scholarship program that afforded them the ability to send their children to Catholic and other private schools. They also did not like that these families overwhelmingly chose Catholic ones as well which prompted them to kill the program. The results being exactly what they wanted, those children forced to return to public schools and Catholic schools closing.
