how do my actions make me a hypocrite *a question that most don't ask

it is self-righteous ain't it
i can't sing the word genuinely
i know i can be quite crumudgy
i really want what's best for this world
they won't do anything on their own to guarantee a better outcome
it does make me angry n bitter
they wouldn't get so defensive if it wasn't true
you don't wanna be committed all cos you cry
learn how to gauge n disengage
the man in my head is always correcting me
maybe i'm just ahead of my time
i'm always in a place that you can't see
i'd rather be myself so just leave me
i'd rather do w/out than rip my harr out
a whimsical spirit won't prevent you from aging
