Get involved in your government! Now that the legislative session has begun, here are some practical ways you can affect change:
* Follow bills
* Submit testimonies for bills you support or do not want to see enacted
* Call or meet with your representatives and discuss how you would like them to vote on an issue
Legislators make decisions based on the testimonies given by you, their constituents, so it's important to make sure they know how you feel about a bill. This is one of the best ways to participate in your government; please exercise your rights! Go to capitol.hawaii.gov
