An Upper Peninsula man, accused of crimes in three states, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole in Alabama.
Caleb Anderson of Iron County was sentenced earlier this month for one count of death, after a crime spree that started in the U.P., then in Wisconsin, and finally in Alabama.
Anderson’s defense attorneys tried a plea of not guilty due to mental disease or defect, but that was denied after a psychiatric exam showed he was fit to stand trial.
