A Duck comes bearing Green Onions in Pokémon Silver (Part 9)

With ??? defeated,I can now make my way to the Ilex Forest. I have 2 main things to do there. The first is to lure a Farfetch'd back to the charcoal makers. The charcoal makers give the HM for cut as a reward. With cut in hand, I... catch a Paras because I need something that can cut and fast. Paras gets me through the forest lickety-split once I can cut my way through like a swashbuckling adventurer.
