Book of Job: Elihu continues to contradict the misinformed statements of Job that he made earlier of his arraignment of God in light of his own personal, sorrowful state of affairs. (Chapter 34: 17) Elihu advances his thought that it would be absurd to promote someone to power who is a professed enemy of justice and to promote someone who hates ferociously the right to govern. Proverbs 29:2 "When the righteous are in authority and become great, the people rejoice; But when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh."
