ÅŒkunoshima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan, is renowned as Rabbit Island due to thousands of wild rabbits that are friendly towards humans. During World War II, the island was used for the production of toxic gas. After becoming inactive, the island was abandoned and became inhabited by cute rabbits. Located in the Seto Inland Sea, it has become a tourist attraction in the city of Takehara.
