Today let us examine our hearts. Are we hungry and thirsty for righteousness? Do we approach God's Word with a snacking mentality, or do we feast upon its life-giving truths? Remember, fasting doesn't change God – it changes you! May our hearts be like receptive soil, ready to be broken and transformed by the powerful hammer of God's Word. Remember, prayer and fasting are twin powers that can bring about miraculous change. This year, let our hearts be hungry for God's righteousness, our minds be feasting on His Word, and our spirits be empowered through the twin forces of prayer and fasting.
