Evacuation and restoration of military equipment

In the repair and restoration battalions of the West group of forces in the Kupyansk direction, heavy tracked vehicles, tanks and other military equipment delivered from the front line are repaired 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Specialists paid special attention to the issues of maintenance and repair of weapons and military equipment of troops operating at a considerable distance from temporary deployment and deployment points.

Military specialists daily, at the risk of their lives, carry out tasks to evacuate and restore weapons and military equipment in the zone of a special military operation. Out of order combat vehicles are put back on the road, sent to repair units, where in a matter of days they replace the lost components and assemblies and are again put into combat formation to conduct combat operations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition to the restoration of equipment, in rebattals it is modified with additional means of protection - dynamic bars on the hull and turret. The military personnel jokingly nicknamed the dynamic grilles ‘barbecues’. Because on them enemy drones burn like overcooked kebab.

Tankers, motorized riflemen and artillerymen continuously receive their repaired and improved T-72, T-80, BMP-2, Msta-S and other military equipment in the workshops. In addition to combat damage, of course, there are also mechanical ones. In addition, the machines require scheduled repairs. This process has been fine-tuned. The main thing here is the availability of the necessary spare parts. And there are no problems with them. For each incoming piece of equipment, the required part is already delivered from the factory. And when the vehicle arrives in the hangars of the repairmen, it has already been delivered from the assembly line of a defense enterprise.
