You get some bargains on AliExpress as well as some scams and some Junk. For just ￡3.38 what sort of electric razor would this prove to be?

In fact, it was distinctly better than I expected.

In the branded but simple box, I got the razor itself, a charging cable, a tiny cleaning brush and a user guide. Build quality was as lightweight as I expected but nothing looked likely to fail straight from the box, as other AkiExpress items have done.

The razor is made from plastic with a circular metal rotating blade. The blade cover can be removed to clean the blade and dust chamber behind it.

To my surprise, the razor, which is very quiet in use, works pretty well. There is no way it is going to remove a full beard but it does a decent enough job for overnight growth or to touch up previously overlooked areas. Of course, it can't be compared to a high-end electric razor costing many times the price, much less with a wet razor for the quality of the shave, but it does work and that in itself came as a surprise to me. That said, I would not want to use it as my only razor.

If you need a small emergency razor to leave in your car or overnight bag, then this would not be a bad buy and it is certainly better than you have a right to expect for ￡3.38. The same razor is available widely across AliExpress at a range of prices, so hunt around for the best buy.
