Corporate America is Racist

Recent reports based on employment data from S&P 500 companies in 2021 tell a story about these corporations' goals. The Bloomberg article, "Corporate America Promised to Hire a Lot More People of Color. It Actually Did." analyzes the 300,000 employees hired by these key Americans companies based upon race. Executives have stated repeatedly that race plays a key role in hiring, this includes IBM, as reported on by O'Keefe Media Group. Additionally companies like United Airlines are launching initiatives to hire 50% black people or women in the fiscal year. President Biden has also made this a priority of the Administration through many different executive orders. Many argue that hiring practices such as this are in violation of the civil rights act.
