A Russian Tupolev Tu-22M3 (also known as the Backfire bomber) crashed in Olenegorsk airbase in Murmansk. Three of four crew members died in the crash.
The accident happened in bad weather as the plane made a hard landing causing the plane to break apart. The plane had been performing a training exercise.
The Russian Air Force Tu-22M3 crashed on January 22, 2019.
