Israel is telling the U.S. to start beefing up its military because this war in Gaza is a United States war too.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Mileikowsky aka Benjamin Netanyahu said he told Secretary of State Antony Blinken that the brutal invasion in Gaza that has killed nearly 24,000 Palestinians is not only an Israeli war but also an American one.

The U.S. is set to send 1,500 soldiers to Syria and Iraq.

"We have the people we need. We have the training that we need. We have the equipment that we need to fight and win," Lt Colonel Omar Minott, who is among the 1,500 to be deployed, said.

The deployment of troops to Syria and Iraq falls under Operation Inherent Resolve, the U.S. military campaign against the Islamic State across Iraq, Libya, and Syria, which calls for defending U.S. occupying military bases they have, in the region.

The military operation caused a large number of US personnel deployments to the region this year.

Within the latter half of 2023, the United States sent a wave of 2,500 soldiers to Syria and deployed over 900 soldiers to Iraq on two separate occasions. The deployment of these soldiers was to protect the control of U.S. oil interests against "Iran-affiliated forces."

On queue, the U.S. sent troops to fight in Gaza while talking about a move to a "low impact" phase of the war. Low impact?
